Welcome to Guide Me Around Morocco (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”). By accessing our website (www.guidemearoundmorocco.com) or booking any tour, service, or experience offered by us, you (“you,” “guest,” or “client”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.


1. About Us

Guide Me Around Morocco is a licensed Moroccan tour operator based in Casablanca, founded and directed by Abir, a certified national guide (License No. XXXXX, issued by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism). We specialize in bespoke, small-group, and private cultural tours across Morocco.


2. Booking & Payment

  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% non-refundable deposit (unless otherwise specified for last-minute bookings). The balance is due 30 days prior to tour start date (or in full for bookings made <30 days in advance).
  • Payments are accepted via bank transfer (in MAD or EUR), Stripe, or PayPal. All prices are in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if full payment is not received by the due date.

3. Pricing & Inclusions

  • Tour prices are per person (unless stated as private/fixed-rate) and based on current costs (transport, accommodation, guide fees, entry tickets).
  • What’s included is clearly listed on each tour page (e.g., guide, transport, meals, entries). What’s not included (e.g., tips, personal expenses, optional activities) is also specified.
  • Prices are subject to change due to fuel surcharges, government tax adjustments, or force majeure (see Section 7). Any change >5% will be communicated in writing with option to cancel.

  • Group bookings (6+ guests): 50% deposit required; stricter cancellation terms may apply.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days via original payment method (minus bank/PayPal fees).
  • Note: The deposit covers administrative costs, guide reservation, and initial logistics—hence non-refundable.

5. Guest Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal & travel information (e.g., passport details, health needs).
  • Comply with Moroccan laws, customs, and cultural norms (e.g., modest dress in rural/religious sites).
  • Inform us in writing of any mobility, dietary, medical, or accessibility requirements at time of booking. We will accommodate where reasonably possible—but cannot guarantee adjustments requested <14 days prior.
  • Carry valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal liability. We strongly recommend comprehensive coverage.
  • Respect local communities, environments, and our partners. Disruptive, unsafe, or illegal behavior may result in tour termination without refund.

6. Our Commitments

We pledge to:

  • Provide services as described, with qualified, licensed guides and vetted local partners.
  • Maintain transparent pricing—no hidden fees.
  • Respond to inquiries within 48 business hours.
  • Support sustainable and ethical tourism: fair wages, eco-conscious operations, and respect for cultural heritage.
  • Notify you promptly of any unavoidable itinerary changes (e.g., road closures, site closures) and offer alternatives or partial refunds if significant.

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or extreme weather
  • Government actions (e.g., border closures, visa suspensions)
  • Strikes, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Transport failures (e.g., flight cancellations, vehicle breakdowns)

In such cases, we will:

  • Refund unused, non-incurred services (e.g., unbooked nights, unused entries)
  • Offer rescheduling or credit toward a future trip
  • But not cover airline costs, visas, or independent expenses.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, photos, logos, itineraries) is © Guide Me Around Morocco and/or Abir. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited. Photos of guests may be used for promotional purposes only with explicit prior consent.


9. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific tour in question.
  • We are not responsible for:
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
  • Delays or expenses arising from flights, visas, or third-party services
  • Injuries resulting from high-risk activities (e.g., hiking, camel riding) undertaken voluntarily
  • Participation in physical activities is at your own risk. We assess fitness requirements and provide safety briefings—but final responsibility rests with the guest.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Casablanca.
